Staff Meeting

Kia Ora koutou,
Welcome to the Nga Kakano page. The name Nga Kakano means 'The seedlings'.  It is our intention to have aspects of this page managed by students. It is a place for us to share what is happening in relation to things Maori at Omanu School and to share resources both within the school and with the community.
Today I would like you to pay particular attention to the Teaching tab at the bottom of the Nga Kakano page. Here you will find links to our Implementation Plan and the expected achievement objectives for each term.
Currently the resources and media in each of these sub pages is pretty minimal.
Your challenge for this session/ syndicate meeting should you choose to accept it is:  Here are some options:)

1. Work with a colleague/s (mixed ability group :) find a resource or media that you can add to one of the Term objectives)

2. You could go back to your room and take a photo of a resource that you use then add it to the media gallery. Leave a comment with the photo saying where it can can be found. This way if people are keen to use it they can come and ask you about the resource.

3. If you have any photos from the Matariki disco these could be added to the media area on the left hand side of this page.

4. Add a video or photos  to the Media Gallery of things you have been up to in your class in relation to Te Reo or Tikanga Maori.

If you are not sure how to add them just send them to my email stainui-fountain@omanu.school.nz and I will add them.
Many hands make light work :)
